The most memorable and greatest sporting moments in history are centralised within the FIFA Films archive based in Switzerland and serviced by Infront Sports & Media AG, FIFA's exclusive television partner. The FIFA Films Archive includes all televised FIFA World Cup™ matches from 1966-2006 and the FIFA World Cup™ Official Films 1954-2006 produced by some of the world's most talented independent producers together with event footage from FIFAs other unique and celebrated international events such as the FIFA Confederations Cup and the FIFA Women's World Cup.
In some instances FIFA Films may need to insist on varying the terms of your request due to existing contractual restrictions in place with third parties for FIFA World Cup™ and FIFA Additional Events. Such issues will be dealt with on a case by case basis. Please note that such restrictions do not, generally, apply to footage derived from the FIFA World Cup Official Films.
Once the viability and commercial aspects of your request have been discussed in full with the FIFA Films Sales team the request will be passed for review to the Legal department.
If approval for your request is granted, FIFA Films will issue you with an offer letter and short form agreement which clients are asked to sign prior to the release and exploitation of any footage.
All tapes are sent to clients by international courier.
An invoice will be issued upon receipt of a part-signed agreement. The standard payment obligations are full payment within ten days of receipt of an invoice.
